yoga nidra

Yoga Nidra is a deep rest meditation that is typically done lying down in a comfortable, supported position. It allows the body to let go at a deep level — without effort – and gives the nervous system a direct experience of safety and ease. A nourishing practice, it helps shift the system out of chronic activation into rest-and-repair. In this state of deep rest, the body can reorganise and integrate, making it especially valuable for people living with pain, fatigue or overwhelm.

Yoga Nidra is the still, receptive counterpart to the more movement-based and inquiry-based practices that I offer. It is a practice which to allows the whole system to rest back into its natural state of ease.

I am currently a facilitator-in-training studying to offer Yoga Nidra through the Total Yoga Nidra Network, and I’m so happy to be able to integrate this incredible system for nervous system release and relaxation, in such a way that it complements and enriches all my offerings.
